China Glaze Ick-A-Bod-Y

Hello all! Here's a nice backlogged post for you... this was from October, right before everything started going to hell in a hand basket for my life... ughhh. Anywhos, it's the always fantastic and one of my favorites, China Glaze Ick-A-Bod-Y! I don't understand the use of all the hyphens... but whatever, this polish is flippin awesome. All pics taken with flash and are three coats. EDIT: This polish happens to be part of my A-Z Untrieds as the letter I. Oops, now you know lol.

Ick-A-Bod-Y dries matte-ish and bumpy. Weird texture. It looks black and orange (YEAH BUDDY) but the base is actually a murky green with orange glitter.

Top coat! Lovely, shiny finish now. The orange glitter really pops out at you now.

Sorry for the stray cat hair on my ring ringer.

It's probably from one of these guys...
AWWW AREN'T THEY PRECIOUS!? Lincecum is the boy with his head on Posey, my baby girl. They're so soft and adorable!!!!!!!! <3

Haha okay, so that's the beginning of a bunch of backlogged entries... stay tuned...

Thanks for reading/commenting! <3

China Glaze Riveting and Haze Glaze Flames for Opening Day!!!

YAAAAAAAY the best day of the year!!!! I don't know if you know this, but I kinda love the San Francisco Giants. A lot. Soooooo fricken much!!! And of course, we won today! We beat the Pirates 5-0, with Matt Cain pitching a complete game, giving up only ONE HIT. That's kind of a big deal. Amazing!!! In celebration of the start of baseball season and to show support for my team, here is an orange mani! First polish used is the incredibly gorgeous China Glaze Riveting! Now I can become obscenely obsessed with a lot of things, but honestly sometimes when everyone and their mother likes something and talks about it non-stop, I kind of get turned off by it. I try not to be so mainstream ;) lol. So in true Meghan fashion, I'm not a fan of The Hunger Games. True that I haven't read any books or seen the movie yet, but I think it's something I'll get into once everyone quiets down a bit. Anywhatsits!

China Glaze Riveting

ACCCCCCKKKKK my eye balls are popping out of my skull!!! Really rich, vibrant, glowing red-orange glass fleck shimmer ridiculousness!!!!! This one deserves all those pictures.

Bottle shot! <3

Gah I love large hex glitter like no other. I was having a bit of a time trying to find a color to go under Flames. I was thinking of doing Revlon's Ruby Ribbon because it's a rich, deep red, but as you can see from the bottle shot, Flames has a bit more of a red-orange jelly base. Riveting was perfect underneath, don't you think?! Others seemed to think so since I received countless compliments on this mani. I'll still probably try the Revlon underneath this polish again just to wear it differently :)

OPI Green-wich Village and Lacquistry Golf Shorts

I failed to mention in my last post that that mani was meant to be a St. Paddy's themed mani. Pretty good color combo, wouldn't you say? Anyway, here's what I had for the actual day. The first swatch is an older one since I've shown it on here before and figured that one picture would suffice. The second polish is amazeballs. You'll find out why. It took me this long to post because I was tryna wait for more sun to emerge so I could capture better pictures but the sun hid a lot... So these will have to do I guess...

OPI Green-wich Village
Lovely granny apple green cream. A little thin but three coats is my usual anyway.

Lacquistry Golf Shorts
Lacquistry has been all over blogs for a while, so here's another mani to go with the rest! I love this combo for St. Paddy's! Not gonna lie though, this baby was a bit thick, but at least it was easy to get glitter on the nail!

Please excuse the tip wear in these next pics, again, I was waiting for sun to come out! Alas, no.

Pathetic cloudy light shot. Ugh. Still pretty though!

Bottle shot I looove yoooou!! There's tiny orange glitter, medium green/holo hex glitter, and large green hex glitter. The best glitters!

Like Lacquistry on Facebook! You'll find out all about when her polishes are on sale here!
She's sold out right now, but this is Lacquistry's Etsy page!

Stay tuned for a crapload of backlogged posts!
