New Bare Minerals Big, Bright & Brilliant Eyeliner Trio Swatches and Review

Yay Tuesday!

Sons of Anarchy on tonight! And the Giants just won NLCS Game 3!! Two more wins and we're in the World Series!!!!!! Craziness!!!

Anyhoo, thought I would show another newbie from Bare Minerals for holiday, a trio of mini eyeliners called Big, Bright & Brilliant. It retails for $20 which is a fantastic deal, and the colors are new, however, not all that impressive. But I've sold quite a few so far, and a lot of people who have purchased haven't tried BE eyeliners yet, so it's a nice introduction to the line's eyeliners. Also, this would make a great, cheap gift! Everyone and their mother likes eyeliner, so grab this for stocking stuffers and whatnot!

Now on to the product...

The packaging is super cute this year for Bare Minerals. And there's already a nice ribbon, perfect for gift giving!

These are, as stated, the mini eyeliners. They're adorable, but they are missing the key pieces as to what makes Bare Minerals eyeliners great: the sharpener and the smudger. These still swivel up to use, but that's about all.

The colors, left to right: Black Gold, Black Diamond, and Midnight Moon. Niiiiice and creamy! But unfortunately, Black Gold and Black Diamond look very similar on the skin, and Midnight Moon looks very similar to another existing Bare Minerals eyeliner called Midnight. These liners are supposed to be more shimmery, but honestly I can't tell there's much shimmer there. Still, nice basic colors if you're just trying Bare Minerals liners for the first time or getting this as a gift.

 Black Diamond close up.

Midnight Moon close up.

So all in all, as I've said, this is a pretty basic kit but awesome for first timers or gift givers. And it's only $20!!! I dunno, even though the colors aren't special, it's a great deal, so I say just get it to have it. :)
